Receptionist
The duties of the receptionist would include scheduling appointments for patients in accordance with established procedures, answer phone calls in a professional and courteous manner, receive and convey messages in writing and verbally. The candidate will communicate with the client the procedures that are due for their pet and educate clients on services and products we provide.
Veterinary Assistant
The duties for a veterinary assistant include animal handling, restraint, and husbandry. Candidate must be able to do laboratory procedures including, urinalysis, heartworm test, fecal exams, and other diagnostic tests. Other technical procedures include nail trims, anal gland expression, ear cleaning, urine and fecal collection, cleaning wounds, removing sutures, changing bandages, dispensing medication, client education, and admitting and discharging hospitalized patients. You must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Licensed Vet Technician
Duties include animal handling, restraint, and husbandry. Administer IV, IM, PO and SQ medication. Perform routine radiographic procedures and venipuncture procedures. The candidate must be able to do laboratory procedures including, urinalysis, heartworm, fecal exams, and other diagnostic tests. The candidate must also be able to assist with surgery, including surgery prep, monitoring, recovery, instrument prep, sterile technique, skin closure, etc. Other technical procedures include nail trims, anal gland expression, ear cleaning, urine and fecal collection, cleaning wounds, removing sutures, changing bandages, dispensing medication, client education, and admitting and discharging hospitalized patients. You must be able to lift 50 lbs.
